Not everyone wants to support Elon Musk, and I'd rather not have to setup an account on X in order to be up-to-date with what's happening in Webstudio Land...

What is the 'Webstudio way' of using custom fonts? Is there a way for us to upload custom fonts that will be used in the site — so fonts don't have to be served by an external third-party, like Google Fonts?

Asking because it seems I cannot upload font files into 'Assets', and I can't see anything in the Project Settings that talks about fonts...

I just wanted to double-check how favicons are handled in Webstudio: can I upload any image, in any format (png, webp, svg, etc.) and Webstudio will automagically create all necessary icons and tags for me, out of that single image? I don't need to go and separately create my own .ico files, etc., anymore?

If so, you guys really need to update the docs to say that explicitly — that's awesome, and you guys are not giving yourselves enough credit!

On Webstudio Cloud, is there a way to implement simple password protection for a page, without having to use an external CMS and having to setup an elaborate login system?

My current site development platform has a feature that, although quite basic, clients love: a 'Site SEO Dashboard'. It essentially lists all pages and all images in the website, allowing the user to filter and show:
  • dead links
  • images that are missing
  • images that have missing or empty 'alt' attributes
  • pages that have missing metadata (checks 'title' and 'description')
  • pages that have duplicate metadata (i.e., same title and/or description as another page)
The client can then fix broken links, as well as edit and correct image and page metadata directly from that Dashboard. They have also integrated a basic AI functionality, so that the client can get the AI to automatically generate meta data based on the content - i.e., suggest title and description based on the content of the page, and suggest image alt descriptions.

Needless to say, if the client has an 'SEO Expert' working with them, they absolutely love that they can go to a single place to edit all image and page metadata.

It would be amazing to have something like this in Webstudio.

Webstudio Cloud sites are hosted on Cloudflare. It also happens that Cloudflare provides a free, privacy-conscious analytics service. This service seems to be already built into and pre-configured for all sites proxied through Cloudflare, and those deployed as Cloudflare Pages.

If that is indeed the case, would it be possible then for Webstudio to access those stats and display them directly in the website itself? — eg., by having a 'Site Analytics' dashboard for the site, where the stats are displayed for any client wanting to see them?

That would mean that every Webstudio site would have by default an amazing analytics solution built-in!

Apart from accessibility, one of the biggest attractions for using Radix components rather that 'vanilla' ones is the fact that we get better styling consistency between the different browsers. Except that I can't work out how to properly style Radix components...

Take, for example, a Radix Select component. Unless I'm missing something obvious, there doesn't seem to be a way to style the select items' :hover or :focus states — not unless we drop in some custom CSS, which I'm guessing is not what Webstudio would expect us to do here... What am I missing?... 🧐😖

The default Craft template doesn't seem to include Open Props' --animation- custom variables. Are they not supported in Webstudio?

If they are, how do we use them? In the examples provided in the Open Props docs, we're supposed to apply the variables directly to the shortcut propertyanimation:. But when we enter something in animation: in Webstudio, it 'deconstructs it' automatically into its sub-properties...
I was wondering whether the cloud-hosted version of Webstudio (Pro) has an API that would allow us to do things like create or edit a site remotely? The use-case I have in mind is asking a visitor in my website a series of questions, and based on the answers have a single-page website automatically created in Webstudio...

It would be nice to be able to signup and login into Webstudio without having to use a US-based identity provider, such as Google or Github. Ideally, I'd prefer to login using a provided email address and a password — or, if we're getting fancy, an automated passkey...
