Is there a way to remove the "clone" button for clients?

At a glance

The community member who created the post would prefer that their client not have access to the clone option, even though they have given the client editor access. The comments discuss the reasons for this, such as the client potentially cloning the website to their own account and thinking the community member is overcharging them, and non-technical editors finding the clone option confusing. Another community member agrees, stating that less is more when it comes to client access, and that cloning should be an admin feature, not an editor feature. The comments also mention discussing with Ivan Starkov about adding a "clone" option for sharing with content mode, or disabling cloning in that mode entirely.

I would rather a client not have access to the clone option. I have just given them editor access.

got it, is there a particular reason?
I had the same thought. My reasons were:
  1. I charge them monthly - they could clone to their own under your free account and think I'm ripping them off
  2. For non-technical editors, it can add extra confusion (this is the entire base of who I make websites for, they are not technical at all - most hate the idea of having a website even)
Yes to everything @Jeremy says. Overall, less is more when it comes to clients. Don't show them anything unless it is absolutely necessary. It's better for them and better for us. To me cloning a website is an Admin feature, not an editor feature. An employee of a business should not have the option to clone that orgs website.
Cc @Ivan Starkov is it a quick job to add "clone" option for sharing with content mode? If not maybe we should disable cloning in that mode entirely
