Is the free WS version blog limited to a single post?

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue with the FinanceFlow template in the free Cloud version, where new blog posts they create redirect to the featured post instead of appearing on the blog index. The community members discuss that the free version is not limited to a single post, but the issue seems to be related to the way the template is set up, with the blog posts being static pages rather than a dynamic collection.

The community members suggest that the issue may be caused by the community member trying to add static pages to a dynamic collection, and recommend deleting the collection and building the overview statically instead. They also note that the community member's published site at traumareligioso.com shows the placeholder content from the template demo, rather than the content the community member has added.

The community members provide a shared project link to help troubleshoot the issue, but it does not seem to show the specific pages the community member is having trouble with. Ultimately, the community members conclude that with static pages, the index page does not automatically know they are part of a list, and the community member will need to add them manually to the index.

The community members also mention that they are considering adding a built-in CMS-like functionality to the platform in the future, which would allow for more dynamic blog post management without the need for an external CMS.

Hi! It seems that in the free Cloud version, the blog posts from the FinanceFlow template don’t function properly—every new post I create redirects to the featured one. Could I be missing something, or is the free version limited to a single post?

free version is not limited to a single post
how are you testing it?
cms-based build can't be published on a free account
I wonder how you got that to publish
probably better to share what you got
If you check the FinanceFlow template, you’ll see it comes with six posts plus a featured post. Of course, I’m not using dynamic features—instead, I’m creating each blog post as if they were static pages. The issue is that when I add a new post, it doesn’t appear on the blog index. Also, in the editor, every blog post or page I add gets redirected to the featured post. I hope my issue is clear. You can see my project here https://traumareligioso.com/
oh you are probably using collection with dynamic items and trying to add static items to the colleciton
you need to delete the collection in this case and build the overview statically
or maybe I don't understand what you are doing
As you see on my blog, traumareligioso.com, the posts display as they do in the demo—they aren’t showing the content I’ve added.
yes, though I can't tell why just by looking at the published site
And each one of them redirects to the feature post
it can be a long discussion or you can just share the project link
which page is that?
that is the "share" link from the WS editor

My apologies if I misunderstood your request.
it shares the build but not specific page
which page should I be looking at?
If you go to the homepage or blog section on traumareligioso.com and click on any of the blog posts listed there, you’ll see that they don’t contain my actual content, and each one redirects to the featured post.
these 3 link to the same page

yes, end the content in each post you see is the placeholder text and image included in the template demo
this is a static page which you link to from all 3 items

The issue is that when I add a new post, it doesn’t appear on the blog index.

Did you expect the blog posts to automatically appear on the index?
no, that is not how it works, when pages are static one has to add them manually to index
cms is what allows to automate this because you fetch the overview from cms
with static pages, index page doesn't know they are part of some list
they are just pages like every other page
I understand, so for now I would add them manually index
we are actually thinking to make this type of stuff more like a small built-in cms for small blogs and such
so that these overview pages can be made dynamic without using external cms
no estimate though when this would come, just a plan
ooooh, that will be absolutely awesome ❤️ thanks a lot Oleg!
