Convert to local on tokens

At a glance

The community members are discussing the idea of converting local styles to tokens and then back again. One community member suggests using local styles as a temporary place to combine styles from different tokens. However, another community member points out that this could be cumbersome, especially if there are existing styles in the local styles. The community members also suggest an alternative approach of copying the necessary CSS declarations from the advanced mode or CSS preview and pasting them directly onto the new token.

Local styles can be converted to tokens. What if it worked the other way as well? This would also be an easy way to combine tokens, which I've found myself needing with Webflow conversions

as in token A > local, token B > local and and then local > token C ?
I think you are suggesting using local as a temp place to put styles from both tokens into
this sounds like a bit cumbersome, especially if you already have some styles on local and if they are supposed to stay there
currently you could go to advanced mode or css preview, copy declarations you need then paste them on the new token
